A number of the band's members are in relationships with females in Britain, with the likes of Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson well known for their love interests.

Zayn Malik meanwhile got heads turning in the pop world recently when news of his relationship with Little Mix star Perrie Edwards broke.

Speaking to Hollywoodlife.com, Louis Tomlinson said that they have actually been penning songs about their girlfriends back home whilst they have been abroad. When asked if they've been writing about their belles, Tomlinson said:

"Yeah we did. Well me, Liam, and Harry started writing a song and then Zayn came and got involved as well. We're writing songs about being away from home, being away from girlfriends, that kind of thing."
