Chris Cornell says Adele should sing next James Bond theme song

Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has said that Adele should sing the next James Bond theme tune.

Cornell performed the song for the 2006 Bond film Casino Royale and he told MTV that he believes Adele should sing the next theme.

The next James Bond film Skyfall is due out later this year and Cornell said that he "can't think of a better singer" than Adele to perform the theme tune. He said:

"Adele would be the perfect choice – I can't think of a better one. She's phenomenal and it's nice, in a day and age where so many vocals are fixed by computers, that the biggest album of last year was somebody who sings for real."

He continued: "I would hate to see music become more mechanistic and less human, so her success has been great."
