'Call Me Maybe' dog parody video proves to be internet hit

A parody of Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' video has proved to be something of a hit on YouTube.

A video was uploaded yesterday (June 14) featuring the dog 'Corgi Rae Jepsen' mimicking the video of the Canadian's smash hit song - and it has already racked up over 133,000 views.

The clip copies Jepsen's video but adds an animal twist, with a couple of dogs involved.

The vocals for the track are dog barks as the song gets a canine makeover.

As previously reported, Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe - minus dogs and cats - has hit No.1 in the US, with the singer revealing her surprise at the good news.
