Emma Stone reveals she wanted to be a Spice Girl
Actress Emma Stone has revealed that she was obsessed with the Spice Girls as a youngster.
The 23-year-old, best known for her roles in The Help and Easy A, told Entertainment Weekly that the British girlband were a big influence on her early sense of style:
'If we're being honest, it was Spice World [where I got my style]. I wanted platform shoes and crop tops and I wanted to dress like the Spice Girls. I got platform Skechers. I had bell-bottoms. A lot of peace signs."
The Arizona-born star, who plays Gwen Stacy in the upcoming The Amazing Spiderman, also revealed that Emma Bunton was her favourite Spice Girl:
“I cut bangs like Baby Spice because I had blond hair. I wanted to be Baby Spice. I wasn't Baby because my voice sounded exactly like it does now, and I had that spunky energy going on-I wasn't super demure and sweet. But I really wanted to be.”
