Amy Winehouse's ex-boyfriend Reg Traviss faces rape charges
The former boyfriend of late star Amy Winehouse has been charged with two counts of rape.
Reg Traviss, 35, has been charged with two offences alleged to have taken place between 29 December last year and 1 January 2012.
He will face Westminster Magistrates' Court in London on July 17.
Rebecca Mundy, lawyer for the Crown Prosecution Service, said:
"I have authorised the Metropolitan Police to charge Reginald Traviss with two counts of rape. The alleged offences took place between 29 December 2011 and 1 January 2012."
Winehouse, who died in July last year, dated film director Traviss for over a year before she passed away.
