Conor Maynard wants to collaborate with Lily Allen

Conor Maynard has said that a collaboration with Lily Allen is something he could "never say no to".

Allen has publicly expressed her admiration for rising star Maynard in the past - and the feeling is mutual, it seems.

The 27-year-old is said to be back in the recording studio after taking a prolonged break from music and Maynard told the Daily Star he would love to help her on the way to a pop comeback. He said:

"I hear she's back in the studio, I would love to work with her. It's a really cool feeling when artists I'm inspired by say they like my music as well. We're on the same label, it would have to be the right song but I could never say no to that."

Maynard's debut album 'Contrast' meanwhile has just been mixed this week ahead of its July 30 release, and he added that working with some big names has been pretty "surreal". He said:

"I was in the studio last night with Ne-Yo and David Guetta. It was surreal listening the track Ne-Yo did with David there."
