Chris Brown's new album 'Fortune' debuts at No.1

'Forever' sensation Chris Brown has landed a No.1 album with his latest offering 'Fortune' in today's UK chart update.

The talented hitmaker shot to the top spot with 'Fortune' this afternoon (July 4), knocking Linkin Park's 'Living Things' down to No.3.

The Official Charts Company has reported that the record has already sold more than twice as many copies as the current No.2, which is Maroon 5's 'Overexposed'. 'Fortune' is on course to be Brown's highest charting album to date in the UK.

Brown's new single, 'Don't Wake Me Up', has also made a significant impact on the singles chart and debuted at No.2, behind Maroon 5's 'Payphone'.

Emeli Sandé's 'Our Version Of Events' has climbed 1 position to No.4, The Stone Roses have risen an impressive 13 places to No.8, and fun.'s latest offering 'Some Nights' is now at No.15.
