Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' gets new parody by well-known star

Canadian sensation Carly Rae Jepsen has enjoyed fantastic success with her anthemic single 'Call Me Maybe' and yet another celebrity cover of the track has hit the web.

The song has already been mimed along to by Katy Perry, and Justin Bieber teamed up with his girlfriend Selena Gomez to record an entertaining tribute to it, but now another version has made its way online in the form of a full parody.

Sesame Street's famous character Cookie Monster has created his own rendition of 'Call Me Maybe' that is centred around his favourite food and aptly named 'Share It Maybe'.

This sugary offering has been in the worldwide trending topics list on Twitter for a large part of this afternoon (July 10) and Jepsen shared the amusing video with her followers by retweeting the link from Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun.

Recently, Maroon 5's frontman Adam Levine tweeted: "Why does she want him to call her Maybe? Carly is a lovely name."

Upon seeing this message, Jepsen shot back earlier today with: "Dear @adamlevine make the call ;) teehee."
