Carly Rae Jepsen has spoken out in praise of the Cookie Monster's cover of her hit 'Call Me Maybe'.

The song has seen a number of acts cover and parody the track, with YouTube overflowing with 'Call Me Maybe' replicas.

A recent parody to emerge was from Sesame Street's famed Cookie Monster, with the words changed to 'Share it maybe' as the fluffy character promotes giving.

Speaking on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, Jepsen said that she has been "blown away" by all the 'Call Me Maybe' parodies and highlighted the Cookie Monster cover in particular. She said:

"I don't think I've seen all of them, but I've seen enough to be pretty blown away. I saw the Cookie Monster one the other day. Sesame Street, man. It doesn't get any better than that!"

Jepsen meanwhile also revealed that she currently has a boyfriend, who heralds from her pre-fame days.
