Calvin Harris to team up with Florence Welch for new single

'Bounce' hitmaker Calvin Harris has confirmed details of his forthcoming new single and explained that it will be a collaboration with a popular songstress.

In an interview with Q magazine, Harris revealed that his new release is titled 'Sweet Nothing' and features vocals from Florence + the Machine's flame-haired frontwoman.

He also admitted that his chart-topping cut 'We Found Love' wasn't always intended for Bajan beauty Rihanna and teased that "two other" artists could have sung on it:

"It was going to be the third single off my new album and I needed a vocalist, so it was like, 'Anyone want to sing on this?'. Then someone said, 'I do', and it was Rihanna. Two other people could have released it, though."

When asked if the duet sparked a friendship between himself and Rihanna, he added: "She's tried. She's like, yeah come on and hang out in my dressing room."

"I'm like, 'Arrghh'. I mean what do I say to Rihanna? There's nothing! She's great, she's well friendly, she's nice, I see that. But… I can't. I'm from Dumfries, man!"
