Sheryl Crow gains restraining order against fan

Sheryl Crow has been granted a restraining order against a fan.

TMZ originally reported that Crow had filed a request against 45-year-old Phillip Gordon Sparks, who is alleged to have sent Crow "angry" messages on Facebook.

Crow is reported to have said in court documents seen by TMZ: "It was clear to me that [Sparks] was deeply disturbed because his posts were delusional, rambling, filled with profanity and laced with angry rants."

TMZ also reported that Crow claimed in the documents that Sparks went to the offices of the Screen Actors Guild and told an employee that he was going to shoot Crow.

The Telegraph reports that Crow has now been granted a temporary restraining order against Sparks.
