Aiden Grimshaw has unveiled a behind the scenes look at the video for his track 'Curtain Call'.

The singer is in the throes of launching his solo career after coming off the X Factor in 2010.

Grimshaw ultimately lost out in the TV talent show - coming 9th overall, with Matt Cardle winning the competition - but he remained one of the more popular acts on the series.

He has now unveiled a behind-the-scenes look at the video for his single 'Curtain Call', with Grimshaw saying about the song:

"It's the last song on the album. [The video] is the same directors, same kind of team [as previous video 'Is This Love?'] - just a slightly happier video!

He continued: "It's happier video this time so it's more laughs."

Grimshaw's single 'Curtain Call' is due for an August 12 release with his debut album 'Misty Eye' coming out on August 20.
