Frank Ocean cancels all European dates with no explanation

'Novacane' star Frank Ocean has cancelled all of his upcoming European tour dates without an explanation.

He has pulled out of scheduled appearances at the UK's own Bestival and V Festival, as well as his opening support slots on the Coldplay dates that were due to begin on August 28 in Copenhagen.

Despite not giving a reason for his decision to bow out of the shows, he was meant to perform at the Way Out West event on August 11 but failed to turn up and released a statement via the festival's organisers to confirm his surprising change of plans:

"Let me start by saying I feel like an asshole right now, but a tough decision had to be made in regard to my schedule over the next few months."

"The casualties of that decision include my appearances at upcoming festivals in Europe and my opening slot on the European leg of the Coldplay world tour. Sorry as fuck, I'll be back if you have me."
