The Fray to donate royalties from 'Heartbeat' to Aurora theatre shooting victims

Rockers The Fray are the latest act to donate money to benefit the victims of the tragic theatre shooting that happened last month in Colorado.

Bands Kiss and Mötley Crüe recently revealed plans to hand over funds and now the popular 'How To Save A Life' stars, who are from Denver in Colorado, have done the same.

Frontman Isaac Slade appeared on USA Today earlier this morning (August 13) and explained that proceeds from sales of their single 'Heartbeat' will be given to GivingFirst.org to support those affected by the horrific event, in which 12 movie-goers died and 58 were injured:

"We're all sort of reeling from that still. We reached out to the governor (John Hickenlooper) and asked them (officials) what we could do and there's an organisation called GivingFirst.org, so we're donating all the royalties from (Heartbeat) to help out."
