Peter Andre has revealed that he has been learning how to become the perfect date.

The Aussie has been a single man in recent times after splitting from wife Katie Price in 2009, but he has dipped his toes back in the relationship game in the past few months.

Andre is dating 23-year-old medical student Emily MacDonagh and he believes they are heading in the "right direction" together.

Speaking to The Sun, Andre said that hosting new TV show Bad Boyfriend Club - in which the singer helps flailing males with their relationships - has given him tips on how to become the perfect date. He said:

"I have learnt a lot by watching where the guys in my show go wrong and have been putting it into practice with Emily. I have been writing down all the things girls don't like and then I go on a date and the girl says, 'Oh my God, you just did everything right'. Emily said I was the first person she had been with who didn’t have his phone on the table. I made out that I had always done that." Watch Peter Andre talk Bad Boyfriend Club below:
