Johnny Depp could join Alice Cooper on tour

Alice Cooper has hinted that Johnny Depp could join him on tour as a guitarist.

The Hollywood A-lister and amateur musician has performed cameos with the veteran shock rocker in the past but it seems like touring could now be in the offing.

Speaking in a webchat with The Sun, Cooper said that he regularly asks Depp if he wants to join him on the road - and he reckons he might say 'yes' one day. He said:

"Johnny came to Hollywood to play guitar. He didn't come as an actor at all. I always say to him, 'If you really want to go out on tour, let me know and you can come with us'. I wouldn't be surprised if he did."

Johnny Depp is no stranger to musical collaborations it seems, with the 'Edward Scissorhands' maestro previously teaming up with Marilyn Manson and most recently, The Black Keys.
