Justin Bieber ‘digs’ new Carly Rae Jepsen album

Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed that Justin Bieber told her he ‘digs’ her new album.

The ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer, who was signed by the Canadian teen idol and manager Scooter Braun earlier this year, told MTV News that the pair recently phoned her to congratulate her on her second studio effort, 'Kiss.'

"I was stoked, him and Scooter called me and he's like 'It's fantastic, you should be pumped,' and it's not often that I say that, but I am pumped. He digs it.

"I hope people like it, but it's fun to know that my friends and family and people around me are digging it and hopefully everyone else likes it too."

The 26-year-old, who has collaborated with the likes of LMFAO and Owl City on the record, added that it’s great to see her hard work finally come to fruition:

"I've written on almost every song and these are lyric ideas that I've been collecting since I was like 17, so it's really fun to get to see them put to life.

"It's cool to be able to say with confidence that this is an album that I feel like I've been waiting to make and I'm ready to finally have out there."
