Rita Ora values her artistic integrity: 'The public's not stupid'

Kosovo-born songstress Rita Ora recently sat down for a feline-themed photoshoot with men's magazine GQ and opened up about her career and aspirations for the future.

Speaking about the fact that it has taken three years since getting signed by Jay-Z's label Roc Nation to get her debut album, 'Ora', finished and ready to be released, she explained that it was important not to rush the process:

"It's fun to show off your abilities, your vocal range, your tone. The public's not stupid. You can tell an honest artist from one who's just been given all their songs."

She also opened up about her respect for Jay-Z's wife, Beyoncé, and admitted that she hopes to one day be as successful in both her personal life and professional career:

"Beyoncé was, and she still is, such an inspiration. She's been in the game for so long you think she's older but she's only 30. She's a superwoman with a career and a family. I hope one day I can do the same - baby in one arm, microphone in the other."
