'Empire State Of Mind' powerhouse Alicia Keys is about to launch her debut range of trainers after teaming up with sports shoe giant Reebok.

Her exciting new variety of sporty footwear includes a black leather pair (pictured left), which will feature an eye-catching piano design around the heel and above it a nod to the New York City skyline. She told People.com:

"This felt totally perfect. It was everything I dreamed about growing up, and a style of shoe I connected to as a teen. It was another creative outlet for me."

Speaking specifically about the style that she infused the range with, Keys added: "That's the heart and soul of who I am. I can see people wanting to rock them, love wearing them. It all feels really great, and speaks to who I am and what I love."

She also offered her top 3 style tips and said: "Less is more! One statement piece can transform an outfit, two can destroy it! Never travel without some cool sneakers, any daytime outfit can be styled up with good sneaks."
