Ed Sheeran reacts to 'Britannia High' dance move jibes

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has joked about the video that surfaced recently, which showed him trying to dance to a Justin Timberlake video in front of a judging panel.

The flame-haired hitmaker previously applied to be a contestant on ITV's 'Britannia High' and auditioned with a short dance routine set to 'Like I Love You' by Timberlake, but was heavily criticised by judge Arlene Phillips.

Following a widespread online sharing of the clip, Danielle Peazer (who's dating One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne) caught sight of it and tweeted him a public message that said: "@edsheeran good effort Edward."

Sheeran replied: "@DaniellePeazer people just don't appreciate my moves, way ahead of their time I tell ya."

He also returned to Twitter today (September 12) and explained to his followers that it's the one-year anniversary of the release of his major label debut, '+': "My album was released a year ago today for the first time. What a year! Thanks for all the love and support on the album, singles and the tours, more to come!"
