Girl group Destiny's Child have confirmed plans to release a greatest hits compilation later this year.

Although they are no longer together and each have their respective solo careers, the trio announced that they will unveil a collection of their most popular hits called 'Playlist' on October 8.

This will mark their first release in seven years and 'Playlist' will feature 14 tracks, including well-loved songs 'Bootylicious', 'Lose My Breath', and 'Say My Name'.

Back in August, member Kelly Rowland quashed reunion rumours by admitting that the girls are now at a place where they're just "enjoying each other's friendship. That's the greatest gift of Destiny's Child."
