Lawson unveil 'Chapman Square' official artwork

British four-piece Lawson have treated their fans to the first look at their debut album's cover art.

The band's Twitter followers were given the chance to unveil the photograph by using Twitter to pass a 'tweet target' and as soon as they hit it, the lads kept their promise and revealed the cover for their forthcoming studio album, 'Chapman Square'.

The record is due to be released on October 22 and the artwork shows singer Andy Brown, drummer Adam Pitts, guitarist Joel Peat and bassist Ryan Fletcher posing on leather chairs in a woodland setting.

Earlier this evening (September 20), Fletcher sent out a message to his fans that explained he's overwhelmed by Lawson's success: "12 years ago I had my first guitar lesson... Today I Get to ask what do you all think of our first ever album art work?!"

Lawson returned to their official Twitter page soon after sharing the cover and added: "Well we've had the #LawsonAlbumArtwork… who's ready for the Standing In The Dark vid behind the scenes at midnight? http://youtube.com/LawsonVEVO"
