One Direction's new video nears 4 million views in less than 24 hours

Boyband One Direction only released their official music video for new single 'Live While We're Young' yesterday evening (September 20), but it's already had close to 4 million views.

The final edit was uploaded to YouTube last night at 6pm BST and at the time of press it has currently had a staggering 3,676,339 hits.

Writing on his official Twitter page, member Niall Horan told his fans that the group have worked incredibly hard on their new material and he was excited to share the new video with them: 'Thanks for the love for LWWY, we have worked hard on this album, hope u enjoy the rest of it."

Horan, who can be seen playing the acoustic guitar in the clip, added that it was "the most fun video to make".

The lads also performed at London's iTunes Festival yesterday (pictured below and above left) and treated audience members to live renditions of 'One Thing', 'Gotta Be You', and a cover of Natalie Imbruglia's 'Torn'.
