Marina and the Diamonds: 'Label say I look 'ugly' in my new video and that's why it's delayed'

Quirky songstress Marina Diamandis has taken to her official Twitter page to tell her fans the reason behind her new music video's delay.

Speaking about the video for 'How To Be A Heartbreaker', which was due to be unveiled today (September 24), she explained that her label bosses at Atlantic told her she looked unattractive in some of the scenes so they're spending time 'painting out' the "ugly" parts:

"So, someone at my record label wont let me release the video bc I look ugly in it apparently + we need more $ / time to paint out ugly parts."

"The video will be out end of the week. If not, I am happy to leak the 'minger' version for my fans," she added.

'How To Be A Heartbreaker' doesn't feature on the UK edition of her latest album, 'Electra Heart', although it is on the US release. Marina and the Diamonds will head out on tour around England in October.
