P!nk celebrates first U.S. No.1 album with 'The Truth About Love'

Feisty pop sensation P!nk has landed her first ever chart-topping album in America with her latest offering, 'The Truth About Love'

The record shot into the top spot on the Billboard Hot 200 after shifting an impressive 280,000 copies in its first sales week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Billboard.com reports that this is the biggest sales week of her 13-year career out of all of her previous albums and it's also the third-biggest debut this year, following Justin Bieber's success with 'Believe' (374,000) and Madonna's 'MDNA' (359,000).

Tweeting about the success of her new full-length album, P!nk wrote (September 26): "After 13 years and 6 records, I'm beyond floored to have a #1 album in the US. I'm grateful for all the ears and all the hearts. Thank you!!"

'The Truth About Love' is currently at No.4 on the UK Top 40 and her latest single 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' slipped 5 places to No.10 during today's midweek update.
