Jessie J reveals childhood shoplifting in autobiography

Jessie J has admitted that she nicked a hoodie from a shop when she was a kid.

The vocal star has just released her first ever autobiography 'Nice To Meet You'.

In one section of the book, the Voice UK coach recalls a time where she stole a piece of clothing that was emblazoned with a Shaggy-related phrase. She said:

"I stole a hoodie once from Atlantic Clothing that had 'It wasn't me' written on it, when the Shaggy tune was big. Security didn't find it funny when I said I was joking."

Jessie J meanwhile has been spending time today (September 28) signing hundreds of copies of her book.

Last night (September 27) the singer revealed on Twitter that the autobiography was already placed at No.34 on the UK book chart.
