Taylor Swift, Muse and No Doubt to perform at MTV EMAs

Taylor Swift, Muse and No Doubt have been announced to play at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards.

The star-studded ceremony is due to take place in Frankfurt, Germany on November 11 and it will be hosted by Heidi Klum.

Leading the nominations for the awards are Rihanna, with six nods, and Taylor Swift, who is up for five gongs.

Swift has now been announced to perform at the glitzy show and she said about her confirmation:

"I've always wanted to go to the EMAs, because you hear about the spectacle of it, and how everyone just goes all out for their performances. To be nominated for five EMAs was the most exciting feeling, and I was absolutely blown away. I can't wait to be there this year and perform on the show!"

Muse will also play the event, whilst newly reformed 90s act No Doubt will take to the stage too. Speaking about their announcement, No Doubt said:

"The EMA is massive. Everyone is in top form. It's going to be an amazing time and a chance for us to show to the world why we're so proud of our new album. And it's always awesome to do what we love most, which is play live. We're really excited to be a part of it."
