Calvin Harris 'gratified' by Cheryl Cole's commercial success

Scottish DJ Calvin Harris has admitted that one of the perks of his job is seeing how successful a song he worked on can become, and explained that he's particularly happy about Cheryl Cole's popularity.

Harris produced her single 'Call My Name', which was the lead single to be taken from Cole's new album 'A Million Lights', and told Capital FM that it's "gratifying" to see something he wrote and produced be so well received:

"It's always quite bizarre seeing a pop act with all the big production and all that kind of stuff, performing a song that you did. It's always going to be quite good, gratifying."

When asked if he will go along to one of Cole's upcoming live tour dates, he added that it would be fantastic to see her perform the track to an arena full of fans:

"I heard Tinchy Stryder's supporting her which is an interesting choice, so I'd probably go and see that if I've got a day. It'd be good to see it."
