President Obama: 'I've made sure that Jay-Z helps Beyoncé with baby Blue Ivy'

The President of the United States of America has opened up about his relationship with global music icons Jay-Z and Beyoncé and even admitted to giving the rap superstar some parenting advice.

Barack Obama has become good friends with the famous couple and told US radio station Z107.9 that he has a great deal of respect for them and even talks with them on a personal level about ordinary things such as families:

"I've gotten to know these guys over the first several years. They're good people. Beyonce could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls. So they're good friends."

"We talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends. I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyonce out [with the baby], and not leaving it all with Beyoncé and the mother-in-law."

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have shown public support for Obama and last month they held a fundraiser to help him get re-elected, which raised a cool $4 million for his campaign.
