Spice Girl Mel B has won a restraining order against an Australian photographer who is claimed to have threatened her and put her life at risk.

The singer said that Australia's 'Prince of Paparazzi' Jamie Fawcett "endangered" her whilst she kayaked in Sydney Harbour last week.

The X Factor Australia judge has been granted a restraining order until November 22 when the case returns to court.

Fawcett has been ordered not to contact the star and to not "loiter" within 50 metres of her.

The snapper has previously been called "Sydney's most disliked freelance photographer", with Mischa Barton's rep also calling Fawcett a "parasite".
