One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has slammed people who spread rumours about his sexuality, going as far to say they aren't real fans.

The singer is regularly romantically linked with fellow bandmate Harry Styles, with the term 'Larry Stylinson' created in honour.

Speaking to Now magazine, Tomlinson - who is dating girlfriend Eleanor Calder - admitted his frustration at the "conspiracy" and said it is "crazy" that some people don't think his relationship is real. He said:

"A lot of them are so wrapped up in the conspiracy. Let me tell you now, they'll find a way to put some twist on this interview."

The 'One Thing' star continued: "I think it's pretty obvious when you see me and Eleanor together that it's real. Think of the amount of time I spend with her. It's crazy that I even have to say it's genuine. The truth is, these people aren't our real fans. That's the way I like to look at it."
