All four coaches to return the The Voice new season

The BBC has today (November 13) confirmed that all four original coaches will return to the new season of The Voice.

The Script's Danny O'Donoghue, Jessie J, Welsh crooner Tom Jones and Will.i.Am will come back to the show for the new series in Spring 2013 after much speculation about their commitments to the vocal talent contest.

O'Donoghue said in a statement: "The level of singers auditioning has gone through the roof and I can't wait for the rest of the UK to hear and enjoy all the undiscovered artists there are out there."

The Black Eyed Peas hitmaker added: "This season is gonna be doper than last year."

Following the coaches' statements, the BBC's controller of entertainment commissioning Mark Linsey revealed: "All of them are hugely talented individuals and their immense knowledge and first-hand experience in the music industry makes it a line-up that is authentic and second to none."
