The One Direction heartthrobs recently played a practical joke on some of their fans at London's well-loved Madame Tussauds.

The 'Live While We're Young' stars joined forces with British television presenter Dave Berry to give some deserving girls a surprise to remember and pretended to be wax figures of themselves while the unsuspecting fans stood among them for photos.

As soon as the lucky few got in position for pictures, the lads sprang to life and gave them quite a shock albeit a pleasant one.

Meanwhile, One Direction's new album 'Take Me Home' debuted at No.1 during the midweek chart update and their new single, entitled 'Little Things', entered at No.3.
