'Pussycat Dolls split because Nicole Scherzinger was jealous' says former member Carmit Bachar

Former Pussycat Doll Carmit Bachar has revealed that the real reason behind the girl group's split was due to Nicole Scherzinger's blatant jealousy of another bandmate.

Speaking about the end of the Pussycat Dolls, Bachar admitted that the 'Poison' frontwoman grew increasingly envious of fellow Doll Ashley Roberts, who is currently starring in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!':

"Ashley had that iconic American thing going on - blonde hair, blue eyes."

"It was the look Nicole seemed to want but could never have. No one could understand why Nicole was so jealous."

"But she always had a thing about blonde girls. Ashley knew that Nicole was jealous of her and it made her feel uncomfortable. It was a hideous undertone in the group."

Bachar also explained that when Scherzinger first met Lewis Hamilton, who she is now dating, he seemed more interested in another one of the girls: "We ran into Lewis lots of times - in clubs in Amsterdam and here and there - and the chemistry I saw was between him and Melody, not him and Nicole."
