Brit Awards 2013 host revealed

James Corden will host the Brit Awards once again next year.

The actor will host the event, which takes place on February 20 in London, for the fourth time - equalling Chris Evans' record, who presented the ceremony four times between 1995 and 2006.

Corden first hosted the Brits in 2009 alongside Mathew Horne and Kylie Minogue, and next year's event will see him run the show for three consecutive years.

Damien Hirst meanwhile has been signed up to design the trophies for the O2 Arena event.

Speaking about Hirst's appointment, Brits chairman David Joseph said: "He is truly one of the most important British artists ever, and his unique vision will make winning a 2013 Brit an even more special proposition."

Nominees for the 2013 Brits will be unveiled on January 10.
