Louis Walsh: 'If you're Ronan Keating and you think you're George Michael you need to be stopped'

Music mogul Louis Walsh has hit out at 'talentless, spoiled popstars' during an interview with Q magazine and targeted Ronan Keating for letting fame 'turn his head'.

Walsh explained that pop stars shouldn't attempt to write their own songs and confessed that they often get too big for their boots as a result of the widespread success:

"Never be tempted to write your own songs. That rule is for people who have no talent."

"If you're Ronan Keating, who was working in a shoe shop when I discovered him, but end up thinking you're George Michael, you need to be stopped."

Referring to Keating, he added: "His head got turned by having nice hotels and chauffeur-driven cars and he thought he could write songs. I get very annoyed by talentless, spoiled pop stars. They need old-school management."
