Angel has hinted that he could collaborate with One Direction in the future.

The R&B star has supported the British pop group in the past, including at this year's iTunes Festival.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Angel said that their friendship blossomed after the quintet saw his tattoos.

With One Direction developing a taste for body art this year, it seems the 'Time After Time' man could take credit for turning them onto ink. He said:

"1D liked my tattoos when we played live together. I feel like: ‘Welcome to the ink game, boys!'."

Angel continued: "I haven't worked in the studio with them yet but I'm sure that's to come."
