The Official Charts Company have today revealed the best selling singles of 2012 so far.

Gotye looks set to take the top spot when the year draws to a close with 'Somebody That I Used To Know', a track which has sold 1.28 million copies up until now. It is one of just 123 tracks in Official Chart history to have sold over one million copies.

Justin Bieber's protégé Carly Rae Jepsen is in at number two with her worldwide hit 'Call Me Maybe', followed by Fun featuring Janelle Monae with 'We Are Young'. David Guetta's 'Titanium' and Nicki Minaj's 'Starships' round off the top five.

South Korean sensation Psy is currently sitting at number 9 with 'Gangnam Style', but with December's sales still to be accounted for, there's a good chance he could end the year further up the chart.
