Conor Maynard doesn't want to be a diva

Conor Maynard has hit out at stars who use their fame to skip queues.

The Brighton singer has emerged on the pop scene in the last couple of years but it seems his rise to fame hasn't gone to his head just yet.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Maynard admitted that he once tried to jump a queue at a restaurant - only because he thought he might "die" as a result of over zealous fans.

However, it isn't something he is looking to do again in the future, saying that it gets you "nowhere". Maynard said:

"I was standing in the queue for one once and people were taking photos of me. I was scared that if I stood there any longer I'd die, so I tried to queue jump. But then I got sent to the back anyway. They said even Rihanna's people don't get in there."

He added: "It gets you nowhere saying: 'I'm a big deal, I should get some chips with that'."
