Man dies after dancing to Psy's 'Gangnam Style'

A 46-year-old man from the UK has died shortly after dancing along to Psy's viral smash hit, 'Gangnam Style', it has been confirmed.

Eamonn Kilbride (shown left), an Irish father of three, suffered a fatal heart attack after recreating the well-known routine at a Christmas party last week (December 8) in Burnley, England.

Kilbride's wife, Julie, said of the tragedy: "We were having a fantastic time at the Christmas party and Eamonn had just finished dancing to 'Gangnam Style'. He was up on stage and entertaining everybody. He said he had a bit of a pain and just collapsed."

Julie continued: “Eamonn was such an intelligent man, he inspired our children and made sure they had a good education. He loved me dearly and would tell people all the time. I know he thought the world of us.”

Acute heart failure was subsequently listed as the official cause of death. This tragic news comes just a few weeks after Psy was forced to apologise for his involvement in an anti-American song named 'Dear American'.

During the apology, Psy said: "While I'm grateful for the freedom to express one's self I've learned there are limits to what language is appropriate and I'm deeply sorry for how these lyrics could be interpreted. I will forever be sorry for any pain I have caused anyone by those words."
