Carly Rae Jepsen backs Justin Bieber after Grammys blow

Carly Rae Jepsen has praised Justin Bieber after he was left out of the nominations for the 2013 Grammys.

The 'Boyfriend' star was left disappointed after his 2012 record 'Believe' and its associated singles missed out on the 55th Grammy Awards, which are due to take place in February.

His manager Scooter Braun took to Twitter after the news broke to express his frustration at the awards snub.

Carly Rae Jepsen - who shares the same manager as Bieber - was nominated for two Grammys, despite only just releasing her debut album 'Kiss'.

Speaking to Capital FM, however, Jepsen said she has no worries about Bieber bouncing back from the setback. She said:

"Justin's an extremely talented guy and one of the hardest working people that I know in the business. No, I haven't talked to him about it."

The 'Call Me Maybe' star added: "I know that the way he handles most things is just to keep on going and he's got a really strong following so I don't think he has anything to worry about."

Jepsen will vie for the Best Song Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance at next year's Grammys.
