Kim Wilde treats commuters to rendition of 'Kids In America'

Popular 80s singer Kim Wilde surprised passengers on a commuter train recently by performing an impromtpu and slightly tipsy rendition of her well-loved hit, 'Kids In America'.

Wilde was on her way home from Magic FM's Christmas party with her brother, Ricky, when they decided to break into song. Ricky accompanied her on guitar while the people on board looked on.

During the video, Wilde can be heard addressing the passengers in her carriage and she says, "everyone – it's Christmas time, and I'm going to sing you a Christmas song," before attempting to sing 'Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree'.

Tweeting about the internet's overwhelming reaction to the clip earlier this afternoon (December 14), Wilde wrote: "truly,i am overwhelmed and confused at such a huge reaction to my night out on the tiles.Making me giggle a LOT :)"

A spokesperson for the singer added: "She's giggling about it and thinks the reaction on twitter is great fun."
