X Factor winner James Arthur has denied that he and 'Xtra Factor' host Caroline Flack are in a relationship.

He has been seen on nights out with Flack several times since winning the final.

However, the 25-year-old claims he was so focussed on winning, that he has not been linked with anyone since the live shows started three months ago.

He told the Daily Star: “I haven’t had any nookie since the show. That’s for real.

“I’ve been working so hard that I honestly haven’t had time.”

He went on to state that Flack, 33, was currently nothing more than “a really good friend,” but was open-minded about a prospective relationship with her in future.

“She is genuinely just a really good friend. She’s a professional and has a job on the 'X Factor.' I don’t think it is particularly in her interest to start seeing contestants on the show.

“But maybe we shall see in the future. Who knows? Things like this have to be developed.

“If something develops in the future then whatever but if not I’m happy being friends with Caroline.”

In the meantime the singer is working on his debut album and has plans to moved to London.

“I’m moving down to London into a place in Notting Hill and want to pimp it up a bit. The first thing I’ve ordered is a massive TV so I’m going to get online with my new Premiership friends and play FIFA on it," he added.
