Lawson thank fans for making 2012 the "best year ever"

Lawson have proclaimed that the last twelve months have been the best yet for the band.

The British four-piece released their debut single 'When She Was Mine' in July and their album 'Chapman Square', which was released in October, hit No.4 in the charts.

Speaking on Twitter today (December 31), drummer Adam Pitts said in a series of heartfelt messages that 2012 has been a monumental year for Lawson, thanking each and every fan for their support. He said:

"Incase i dont get a chance to say this tonight, I want to say thank you to every single one of you who has supported us in the last year."

The sticksman continued: "Any one who has got a ticket to one of our shows, bought our album or any of our singles, came to meet us outside a radio station, waited in the cold outside a train station or an airport all over the world. Thank you so much. It means SO much to us. Thanks to everyone who works with us, we have the best team in the world! Basically 2012 has been the best year ever! Now for 2013...!"

Lawson previously announced a UK and Ireland tour due to take place in February and March next year.
