The singer is rumoured to be dating the country-pop star, with photos previously emerging of the 'Little Things' man holding hands with Swift in the US.

The 'Red' star performed at a New Year's Eve event in New York City last night (December 31) and pictures have emerged of what looks like the pair kissing.

It is said the celebrity duo locked lips at midnight as 2012 turned into 2013.

The photo evoked a strong response from One Direction fans on Twitter, with some users deriding 'Haylor'.

One user tweeted: "I don't like Haylor, I never will and I don't even care if you unfollow me for that. Go ahead but I refuse to love everything Harry does."
