Original Sugababes perform surprise New Year's gig

Mutya Keisha Siobhan performed a surprise show last night (December 31) for New Year's Eve.

The trio, who were the original Sugababes, played live for the first time in over ten years for Ponystep's New Year's party.

The surprise performance saw the group, who are comprised of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy, perform a cover of Rihanna's 'Diamonds', as well as classic Sugababes tracks such as 'Freak Like Me'.

They also performed the track 'Overload', which was released as Sugababes' debut single in 2000.

As previously reported, Mutya Keisha Siobhan have revealed that the likes of Rihanna and TLC have influenced their new material.

Speaking about one of their new tracks, Keisha Buchanan said: "There’s a song called 'Drum' which we all love – it was one of the first songs we did. Actually, before we got signed to our label we’d finished half the album already. It was all about just going in and vibing off each other."
