P!nk "sued over debut album royalties"

P!nk is facing a lawsuit over unpaid royalties, according to TMZ.

The website reports that Specialists Entertainment launched legal action in December worth $36,213.31 over royalties they allegedly didn't receive from the singer's debut album 'Can't Take Me Home'.

The company say they signed up with P!nk and Thunderstone Productions to help produce the album, which was released in 2000.

Specialists Entertainment claim that they were the brains behind the title track and 'Hiccup', but they say they haven't been paid the arranged royalties on the songs.

A spokesperson for P!nk said that their client shouldn't be implicated in the case, with her record label the ones who should deal with the claim. They said:

"Sony are responsible for paying the producers."
