Calvin Harris set to land first albums chart No.1 of 2013

Scottish hitmaker Calvin Harris is on course to have the UK's No.1 album this week with his latest offering, '18 Months'.

The record has climbed 6 places back to No.1 after debuting at the top spot when it was first released back in October, 2012. If he manages to hold on to the position until it gets confirmed on Sunday, January 6 this will give Harris 2013's first No.1 album.

Rita Ora's full-length debut, 'Ora', has risen 5 slots to No.3, Ed Sheeran's impressive album '+' climbed 9 to sit at No.4, and Jake Bugg's self-titled debut cut has shot up to No.5.

Elsewhere in the album chart Top 40, Olly Murs' 'Right Place Right Time' has dropped 8 to No.10, Coldplay's 'Mylo Xyloto' has climbed a commendable 19 places to No.18, and Robbie Williams' former No.1, 'Take The Crown', is now down to No.14.
