Sharon Osbourne calls Gaga's fans "violent" and "damaging" on U.S. chat show

Television presenter Sharon Osbourne has publicly hit out at the fans of pop sensation Lady Gaga on a U.S. talk show following the argument that arose from Gaga's open letter to her daughter, Kelly, in which she slammed her for being a bully.

Gaga published the letter on her LittleMonsters.com site on January 10 and although Kelly didn't respond to the long message, her mother Sharon did and she hit back at the 'Born This Way' singer for encouraging her fans to dislike and hate on her daughter.

Now, while appearing on the American chat show 'The Talk' earlier this week, Sharon Osbourne discussed the situation and explained how Gaga's fans can be quick to turn on people they think might have offended the singer:

"Don't let your fans be so hideously damaging, hurtful, violent... on your own website. If you are the Mother Monster, monitor it. Why haven't you, as a responsible young woman, said, 'No violence on my website, no violence, no threats, no violence'? Everything is guns, guns, guns. This is not right, and she should be stopped."

Osbourne added: "All I'm asking her to do is to stay true to her foundation, which she said [she created because] she wants the world to be a braver, kinder world."
