Sound production experts say Beyoncé didn't lip-synch

Earlier this week it was revealed that vocal sensation Beyoncé mimed her way through the performance of the U.S. national anthem at Obama's inauguration ceremony.

She performed a stunning rendition of 'The Star Spangled Banner' at the inauguration ceremony on Monday, January 21 although the The United States Marine Corps band, who played throughout the event, explained that she lip-synched to a pre-recorded vocal track.

Now, a team of experts at ProductionAdvice.co.uk have analysed the footage and declared that there's no way she mimed. "When she starts singing, her voice is hard to hear – the microphone gain is too low," the first point explains.

"The sound-man quickly corrects this – but if we were listening to a recording this wouldn’t happen – in fact back-up recordings are used to solve exactly this kind of problem."
